Let me tell you about my client Sejal…

When we started working together 1:1, Sejal was:

  • Overwhelmed.

    She had some idea of what healthy eating looked like but didn’t feel confident in her knowledge or how to translate that into the food she and her loved ones ate.

  • Frustrated.

    She wanted to do make better food choices and cook from scratch more but was always short of time, energy and motivation.

  • Fed up.

    She had tried hard over the years to change her eating habits and live more healthfully but these changes never stuck in the long term.

Over 3 months, I helped Sejal to:

  • Explore new ways of cooking and get creative in the kitchen so she felt excited about food again and inspired to cook more.  

  • Reframe her relationship with food so she could break free from old patterns and confidently build a more healthful lifestyle.

“As someone at high risk of type 2 diabetes, I was desperate to turn around my eating habits and get back on track with having a healthy nutritious diet that would help keep my blood sugars in balance and reduce my risk.

Although I knew what I need to do, I was lacking the motivation to do it and also the confidence to cook more and try new things.

Sonal’s approach was perfect for me – as a full time working mum, I needed someone to keep me in check and kick my butt once in a while without being over-demanding. Sonal totally understood this and I felt I could relate to her in so many ways, not just as a mum but as a woman!

Her knowledge is second to none. It’s all well and good breezing through your 20s not giving a shizzle about your wellbeing but it’s now time to take control of your health. You get this sense of “If not now, when?” but at the same time are so overwhelmed with where to start that you do nothing, leading to overwhelm. The dream would be for someone to take the time to understand you and your challenges and to co-create a personalised strategy for lasting lifestyle change.

You’re busy and so am I, so it’s important that we honour both of your time and energies.

Here's my criteria for who I can best help:

You’re open and coachable.

You understand that a coach is someone who tells you what you don’t want to hear, who encouraged you to see what you don’t want to see, so you can be who you have always known you can be.

I’ll be honest, growth can be painful. But you won’t be alone, I’ll have your back every step of the way.

You’re willing to do the work.

It’s not a good use of either of our time if you want the transformation but you don’t want to change.

I know coaching can work you.
But nothing will work for you if you’re not willing to take action,

So, that’s it, that’s my criteria.
